'rare' means that there is not a lot of footage from fegelein available. It doesn't mean that THIS footage is rare.

I think it is Freiherr von Weichs

I'm sorry you are incorrect -Hitler only ordered the execution of Fegelein after being requested to by other SS members in the bunker, including Hitlers Personal SS adjutant Sturmbannfuehrer Otto Guensche. The reason being Fegelein had brought dishonour to the SS.Hitler himself no longer cared so much but went along with it.

Yes, Gringerde. They are Schöerner, Fegelein and "Der Trüe Heinrich"...In de Wolfschanze...

hitler ordered the execution of fegelein on 4-28-45 at 2345 hrs, in order to ensure that fegelein would never be related to hitler by marriage to Eva, bit the issue is in doubt. after the war, fegelein's father, received several parcels containing large amounts of foreign currency from men claiming to be acting under herman's orders. although he was surely a traitor, he was no coward, reference the knights cross with oak lvs and swords he wore, which were medals for extreme bravery

this is not rare footage. it is a captured DNB newsreel available from the National Archives in College Park MD. The newsreel shows hitler going to the front to meet schoerner after his promotion to the rank of Feldmarshall

Yes, you're right.
Grimgerde (December 31, 1969 at 11:59 pm)
More likely Schoerner.(1.) The man doesn't look like Rundstedt.(2.) If you watch more carefully, you will see he is indeed wearing the typical "alt larisch" pattern collar patches used by generals and field marshals. |
