All bodies have probably decayed, but remains will be found. The Norwegian government will soon make a decision whether to cap it or salvage it. The methods have been calculated, but the one to use is not decided on yet. The amount of Methyl mercury(quicksilver) inside the sub is hazardous. It was meant to be transported to Japan for weapon production, but luckily didn't reach its destination during the 2WW.
