oh well that it takes a whole 30 seconds to boot up. its still 10X better then any PC out there! Most computers take musch more then 30 seconds to boot.

u set the delllaptops to boot quick by loweringthe graphics to setting to classic. i did it to my p.c and it was quicker by 20secods

You cant compare the speed of the SDD & HDD without having the same operating system boot up. Mac OSX is a much more complex OS and takes longer to boot. Also, WinXP is notorious for when the screen comes up, most of the services are not actually loaded yet or running... youll run into trouble if you try to do something right away, they intentionally do that so it appears to boot fast to non-technical people. When the Mac OSX screen comes up, its ready to go. |
